Tanzania is endowed with world-renowned destinations which attracts a big volume of tourists annually.Prior to 2009 recession the country was projected to host about 1 M tourists by 2011.  However, one of the identified challenges is lack of enough beds especially in places like Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro and Serengeti more so considering that the industry is characterized by seasonality with most tourists coming during the months of June-September.
